Our Christmas Cards

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted our Christmas cards yet, I ran out of time! I have been working on so many projects! My friend's birthday was yesterday, so I also made her a present, so I have had no time to post. I haven't bought very many Christmas gifts yet either, so I have to shop all next week, before the kids get out for Christmas break! Christmas time is so busy! :)

Ok, on to our Christmas cards. I made lots of Christmas cards this year, and alot of them are a little too bulky for mailing out, so I am going to give all of those to people from church. I can just hand deliver those, no postage required! :) But for the Christmas cards I am sending out, I wanted them to be pretty flat and of course with colors and patterns that I LOVE! So I used my favorite color, 'raspberry fizz' and my favorite patterned, 'houndstooth', and of course it needed to be simple! :) I really like how it turned out! I made 20, I'm sure I'll have to make more! I guess I need to make a list before I make the cards next time! I also added our Christmas pic inside by cutting two slits and slipping two corners inside and I stamped, 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' in the inside. I hope to have all of these mailed out by Monday. How about ya'll, have you sent your cards out yet, or am I the only slacker? :)

Also I wanted to mention that my card was in the Spotlight last week over at Dawn's, and my card had a shout out from Cath, for last week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab blog! And Autumn's card one over at Savitri's blog for M's sketch! She was SO excited about winning, she said she was ready to play again! :) Thank you for all the sweet comments! Ya'll are great! :)

I will be back in a couple of days to reveal the winners for the EBTKS Challenge! Thank you all for playing, I really got alot of inspiration from the cards! Also, we have a sketch challenge coming up, and guess who is hosting? ME! I am really excited, I know life is getting busier as Christmas approaches, but you can always make a card or scrapbook page with the sketch, and use it as one of your gifts! And I think ya'll will enjoy the prize too! :) So please join us!
Ok, so here's the card.
Supplies:
Cardstock- (PTI) raspberry fizz, dark chocolate, (Georgia Pacific) white
Patterned paper- (Making Memories) houndstooth poolside paperie
