And here is the prize! "52 More Scrapbooking Challenges by Elizabeth Karchner". I have been so inspired by her and her blog and I am so excited about this book, I really LOVE it! I started out as a scrapbooker years ago, then I found card making and scrapbooking took a back burner. So this new year, I am going to get back to making some layouts and having memories for my kids. And this book is just what I needed. It is not just for scrapbookers, it is for all crafters!
I was so excited about the challenge, that I made a layout. I used my sketch and challenge # 29, to use fabric scraps in your scrapbooking. The title to the layout is 'Many Faces', our clothes in the pictures have many different colors, so I used many different fabrics and patterns and I tried to use some of the same colors to match our outfits too! All of the couches are fabric, but the purple one, it's cardstock.
I don't know why, but sometimes it doesn't enlarge when you click on it. It's probably something I'm doing wrong! :) So the journaling says, "Taking family pictures takes alot time and patience. So we like to have fun with it too. Here are the many faces of us!" I'm trying to use my own handwriting, and I really don't like it, but one day it might mean something to my kids! :)The post is already really long so if you have any questions about the supplies, just let me know!
Have a Blessed day!
