Autumn's First KWerner Challenge

Hi my name is Autumn, I am 10 yrs. old, and this is my first KWerner Challenge!!! My mom, Winter, said I could try this challenge. I got the idea for this card from an old SU! magazine and even took my own pictures!I hope you like it!!

KWerner Color Challenge #46 - #2

I also made this card for the KWerner's color challenge. My kids and husband like this one the best. This is a 8X4 card, I know a little big, but I wanted to try a card like this. I really like longer cards, now I need to learn how to make an envelope to match. :) I used the circle punch to make the scallop, love doing that! Used to butterfly's again, I think I just like punching them out! :) Well here is the other card!

KWerner Color Callenge #46

It's time again for another color challenge from KWerner. This week was a little difficult for me. I would never normally put this colors together, but I think it was a good growing experience. I finally got the Martha Stewart butterfly punch, and I wanted to use it for the challenge this week. I had this idea in my head to use the negative space on the card, and I think it came out the way I had envisioned it! I like how it turned out and I think my friend will too! So here it is, I hope you like it!

Not Lucky... Just Blessed!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! My daughter has a friend from school, her mom had a little baby girl today, (I should say BIG girl), she weighed 13 lbs. 13 oz. The lady has 4 kids and all of them weighed over 10 lbs. when they were born! WOW!! That's a lot of baby!! So her baby was born on St. Patrick's Day and weighed the lucky 13-13. I don't believe in luck, I believe it's just blessed! So this is my sentiment on my card today! Don't focus on the handwriting, just the message! The design idea was from Dawn McVey. I LOVE her style in cards!! I also love the way she ties her bows, I finally got one to look a little bit like hers! This ribbon was another $ bin find from Michael's, when I saw it I fell in love! I finally bought Martha Stewart's butterfly punch and it went perfect with ribbon! Hope you like it!

Recipe:
Paper: Best Occasions,SU! green CS, white & dark green CS

Birthday Party Invitations

My daughter Autumn is having a birthday on March 26. We are having her a slumber party next weekend. She is inviting a couple of her close friends, so I made some invitations. She will be turning 11! WOW!! Where has the time gone? It feels like just yesterday she was born! I'll quit crying now. :) One to the card. I found these stamps in the $ bin at Michael's, I thought they would be perfect for her card, so girly!! I also did a little bit of water coloring, so fun!! I found the design for the invitation over at Chavez Designs. She is so talented! Go over and check her out if you haven't already! I think I will use this same design to make my son Chace's birthday invitations too, his birthday is April 5! My baby boy will be 8! They grow up so fast! So another party the weekend after hers. Well here's the invitation! Hope you like it!
You can see where I stamped the high heel inside!
And I stamped it on the envelope!

Have a Blessed Night!

Baby Burb Cloths

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, still working on taxes! (YUCK) Anyway, my daughter's teacher from last year had a baby about 2 months ago. I already made her a baby scrapbook, but I when I found a pattern for burb cloths, I had to make some for her! I found instructions for baby burb cloths from Susan Weinroth's blog. Check her out she does amazing work. I haven't sewn since Home Ec. in High school, so after reteaching myself how to sew, I came up with this. Please excuse the not so perfect stitching. :) I found this fabric from Walmart. I just loved the print, so cute! I made the card a while back, but just added some stitching. I hope she likes them! Let me know what you think!

New Toys

I haven't posted in almost a week, I have been doing the dreaded taxes for my husbands business. It is so much work!!! Well I did get to take a break from that today and got to go and buy some new stuff! I usually only go to Hobby Lobby, but today I went to Michael's too! I haven't been in there in awhile, but I think today I found me a new favorite store!! :) I had so many idea's looking through all of the $ racks. And for the more expensive stuff I had a coupon of course( can't go there without them)! So I didn't spend to much! Look at this set of stamps, it has my name (Winter) & my blog name (Winter Wonderland)! How cool is that? And it was only $1.00. I just had to get it! I hope I can get a card ready for the Color Challenge before the deadline! Maybe after Bible Study tonight. Well I hope you have a Blessed night!
