Use It Challenge #17 & A Happy Momma

Hey everyone! How was your Wednesday? Mine was OK, I went to the Dr. today. The Dr. said I was dehydrated and needed to drink more fluids. It has been in the 100's around here, so I wouldn't that a lot of people are. I also have to go get a sleep study test done on Sunday, to test for Sleep Apnea. So to get my mind off of all that, I made a card for the Use It! Challenge. I found this challenge from Tiffany's blog, and it looked fun, so I thought I would play! I made this card for my niece Caitlin, her birthday is next month, she will be 10.
The challenge is to get you to use some of your stash. The rules for this week is to:
1) Use your newest papers.
2) There has to be a name on the card.
3) Use at least one button.
4) Use a sewing machine if you have one, or sew by hand.
They will pick a random winner, and the winner can pick the next weeks rules, pretty cool huh?! So go by and check it out!

I also wanted to share something that makes me so happy, beyond words!
As some of you may know, my husband is pastor, and at Church we have a worship band. My husband plays guitar and sings, I sing, we have a drummer, piano player, a bass guitar player, and another lady sings too. We have band practice before Wednesday night Church service. My daughter (11 years old) got a mic, and started singing with us tonight, she looked so comfortable. Then I look over and see my son (8 years old) play a DJembe (a drum that came from Jerusalem). It was just amazing to see them singing & playing music to the Lord! Thank You Lord! :)
Here's the card!

Paper- ColorBok, white cs
Stamp- Autumn Leaves- hand written alphabet, alphabet stamp from $ spot at Target
Ink- SU!- Close to Cocoa & Pink Passion
Accessories- Green ribbon- RibbonFX, white thread- sewing machine, buttons- Paper Studio- Bag-O-Buttons, white crochet thread

Your card is great! I know how you feel about your children. My son is 2 and sometimes during worship, he will raise his hands and it makes me cry everytime. I think it always will! Of course he is mocking us but I am thankful that he will grow up (hopefully) in a church where he will learn to truly worship the Lord!

That's really cool about worship! It always touches my heart when I sing young children worshipping the Lord. I really like what you've been doing with your sewing machine lately. Your cards are beautiful!
