Moxie Fab Ruffle Challenge (#2)

Hey everybody! Happy Wednesday! Well my kids get out of school early today at 12:30! The high school's principal and a 1st grade teacher's dad past away, and there wasn't enough substitutes to cover all the teacher's going to be out for the funeral! So I guess we are going to JoAnn's to purchase some fabric! My kids LOVE to wrap up in a blanket and in their PJ's on the couch, (this is how we spend alot of our free time at home together)! :) We don't really celebrate Halloween anymore, we usually have a festival at church, but last year we stayed home and had a family night! I put the air mattress in the living room, bought us all new PJ's (instead of a costume), lots of candy, popcorn, cokes, and pizza and we watched movie's all night! The kids LOVED it! They asked if we could do it every year! :) I have been wanting to make them a quilt, but that will have to wait until I have more time! But for now, I want to make them a blanket for when they are sitting on the couch! They have some SOFT material at JoAnn's, so I think I will go today and let them pick out the fabric they want and just spend the day together! Neither one of them have practice today and we have church at the nursing home tonight, so it should be a great day! :) I thought I would share another card I made for the Moxie Fab Ruffle Challenge! I just love ribbon and lace! Supplies:
Patterned paper- (DCWV) La Creme stack
Cardstock- (Georgia Pacific) white
Stamp- (PTI) mega mixed messages
Ink- (StazOn) jet black
Ribbon- (Offray) burgundy satin
Lace- (JoAnn's)

Have a Blessed day!

I love the red and blacks together! Such a beautiful card! Will you show pictures of the quilt when you are finished? I love your movie night that you have on Halloween. What a great idea! *smile*

This is gorgeous Winter! I have been trying to come up with something for this challenge but...this might be the first one (since I found Moxie Fab) that I will have to skip. Just not having any luck! I guess I am just not a ruffle type girl! :) I love your halloween plans! That is awesome and I am sure you guys will have a great time again this year!
