Card- With Sympathy

Hey everyone! Well as you all know, my kids are off for Summer Break already, so it has been busy around here! My son is still playing baseball, my daughter starts a Volleyball camp next week, and a Reading Program at the Library starts in a couple of weeks! My daughter's leg is almost completely healed, so we will be going to the water slides soon! I guess it will be a busy Summer too! It will be fun though!

Here is one of the cards I made over the weekend for our church, I made this one with all scraps I had laying on my desk. I really like the colors in this one! Ok I don't have a Bigshot or the top note dye, but I really love the look of them. So I decided to free hand a template for one, I think it looks a little similar to one. I think I might use it more!

Supplies:

Paper- Kaleidoscope- aqua paper, melon, brown and cream paper- scraps for stash

Stamps- PaperTrey Ink- Mixed messages, All night media- Wood grain Studio G- owl

Ink- Colorbox Chalk Ink- dark brown, Versamark- watermark

Accessories- Sea green satin ribbon, brown marker, Handmade top note dye, buttons- bag-o-buttons, clear embossing powder

That DOES look like the Top Note die! Fabulous, cute card. I can't believe it's summer again already. Not complaining -- I love summer. It's just . . . where did spring go?

Oh yeah. I spent half of it buried in snow. LOL.

Thanks for the head's up on reposting for Dawn's challenge! :)

That's pretty impressive! And just so you don't feel bad for not having your own... I really don't use mine that much. SHHHHHH.... don't tell Chase.

Very nice card! Love that woody grain background! Glad to hear your daughter is almost completely healed, and just in time for summer break, yay!

Ohh, you did a great job for not having a big shot or die cut machine!! Better than I could do! I don't have any of those tools either! You've inspired me to maybe try free handing it too!! Hmmm, I don't think I'm that artistic though!!

Great job with replicating the top note die! I don't have one either, and I occasionally get jealous of those who do ;). This is a great alternative! :)
