KWerner Color Challenge #48

Hello! Today is my sons birthday, we have had a great day but a busy one! There is also a boy from our church that had a birthday yesterday. Him and my son are just one day apart. So I needed to make a birthday card for him, so I used the colors from KWerner's color challenge to make it. My daughter brought home a note from the school, that they were dressing up like "rockers" for the day. This little guy was on it and I just fell in love with it, so I kept the note so I could use that little guy on something. I tried to copy it on watercolor paper, but it got stuck in the printer, so regular card stock had to do! I used my ColorBox Chalk Ink, Martha Stewart Inks, and a SU! blender pen to watercolor, and then cut it out! I really like how it turned out! I hope you like it too!

Birthday Busyness

I have been really busy the last couple of weeks! I been trying to plan my kids birthday parties! My daughters birthday is March 26th and my sons is April 5th. Autumn turned 11 and Chace is turning 8. I can't believe how fast time flies! I just love being their mom!! :) Well we had her slumber party last weekend. She invited a couple of her close friends. Here in Texas we have had alot of bad weather, lots of rain! So the girls took advantage of that! My husband decided to take them muddin' on our mule (if you have never done that you ought to, so FUN)! Well they also decided to have a mud fight from the mud holes in our yard, so they were covered from head to toe in mud! They had so much fun!! We also had a chocolate fountain with strawberries, bananas, animal crackers, and marshmallows. That was so good!! Instead of having cake we let them make their own sundaes, they enjoyed that! We always have crafts at our slumber party's, so they made chip board albums and I made them little pillows with an iron-on picture of them on it! I think they turned out really cute! I think she had a really fun time! I wanted to share a couple of pictures from the party and a picture of Autumn at about a week old and on her birthday. I will be back later with Chace's camp-out pictures from his birthday party last night!

Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #2

Hi ! As you can tell I am waiting until the last day to get my card into the Color Challenge this week! I have been wanting to make a card, but have been busy with other things. My daughter had a birthday last week and my son's is this week, so you see some of the things I've been busy with. I'll share some pictures of my daughter's birthday party later! I love these colors Dawn picked out for the challenge, I actually picked up some brown and the teal paper last week because I thought it was a good combo and then Dawn posted these colors a couple of days later, so I was excited to make a card using them. Well today I made a card for my son's birthday on Sunday! I wanted to make something a little different than a birthday cake or cupcake, so I made this little popsicle and put these popsicle sticks behind it. I found the pattern for the popsicle from and old magazine I had. I also bought these Thickers last week and wanted to use them so I used my new Papertrey Ink stamp to mix up a sentiment for the card. Well here is the card, I hope ya'll like it. I gotta go get some house work done. :(

KWerner Color Challenge #47

It's time for another color challenge over at KWerner's I love doing these challenges when I have cards I need to make for someone. I made this one for my daughter's teacher at school. I am really lovin' stitching on cards (if you haven't noticed), it is so much fun!! I also just got the Papertrey Ink stamps "Mixed Messages" last week, you can mixed and match the stamps to what you want them to say, so neat!! I'm still trying to tie those bows like Dawn McVey's, hers are so pretty, I still have a long way to go! Well here it is, hope you like it!

Dawn McVey Color Challenge #1

Hello fellow bloggers! I don't know if you have heard, but Dawn McVey has started a color challenge. I'm so excited! She is so talented, and I love these colors!! I ordered the Mixed Messages stamp set from Paper Trey Ink last week. I got them in today, so I was able to use them for this challenge. I can't wait to do some more of these challenges!! Autumn's First KWerner Challenge

Hi my name is Autumn, I am 10 yrs. old, and this is my first KWerner Challenge!!! My mom, Winter, said I could try this challenge. I got the idea for this card from an old SU! magazine and even took my own pictures!I hope you like it!!

KWerner Color Challenge #46 - #2

I also made this card for the KWerner's color challenge. My kids and husband like this one the best. This is a 8X4 card, I know a little big, but I wanted to try a card like this. I really like longer cards, now I need to learn how to make an envelope to match. :) I used the circle punch to make the scallop, love doing that! Used to butterfly's again, I think I just like punching them out! :) Well here is the other card!
