2 Sketches 4 You #36 / Color Me Pretty Color Challenge

Hey everybody! I have a card to share with you today! Ine emailed me about a week ago and invited me to play in her first Color Me Pretty Color Challenge and I was very honored to be asked! I needed a Birthday card for a friend of mine and I figured why not use the colors and a sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You! So I got to work and this is what I made, it's very simple, but I like simple! :)
I hope you all will go over and check out Ine's Challenge, she is being interviewed by a magazine on Monday, so go over and wish her luck too! I'm not going to lie, I can't read her blog, because it is in Spanish! I should have listened in Spanish class in High School I guess! 2 years wasted, because I don't remember much now! But she has a translate button on the right bar! That should help the ones, who didn't listen in class! :) And go check out that cute sketch from 2S4Y! They always have great sketches! I'll be back tomorrow with some more challenge cards! Don't forget, this Friday is the last day for the Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge!

Patterned Paper- American Crafts- Merrymint
Cardstock- (SU!)- pink & blue, Gold- ?, (Georgia Pacific)- white

2 Sketches 4 You #33

Hello again! I wanted to share this card I made for the 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge! It was such an honor to be one of the Fab 5 last week! Thank You Laura & Kazan! And Happy Birthday Laura! :) Well, today I bought some new stamps, and I thought I would use one for the card! It is this cute little tree! I wanted it to be a Fall card, so I made the leaves on the tree orange. I guess they just haven't feel out yet! :) It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but if you look real close, you can see the leaves and acorns I stamped on the back ground paper in Versamark. I am really loving burlap right now too, I think it might be the texture it gives the card! It reminds me of sack races at Fall festivals! :) OK, so here it is! Supplies:
Paper- cream, orange. red, brown, & green cardstock
Stamps- Hampton Art- tree, Recollections, leaves and acorns, PTI- mega mixed messages- Happy, Target $ spot- Fall
Ink- ColorBox Chalk- chestnut roan, Versamark- watermark
Accessories- burlap

Have a Blessed night!

2 Sketches 4 You, Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #1

Hey everyone! How was ya'lls weekend? Mine was pretty good, but I can't wait til' Autumn gets home tomorrow! :) Well today I got to make a card for two challenges. One is the 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge and the other one is new, called Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge. I really liked the sketch this week! On the other challenge, we are given a scripture, and this week's is -Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35 (NIV). We are to make a card with a food or drink theme. I had some paper from Sassafras that had a cute little watermelon on it, so I thought of making a friend card and I used the PTI mega mixed message stamp for the Sweet Friend. I really like how it turned out! Here is the sketch and the card!
Supplies:
Paper- kraft, red, white, black cardstock, Sassfras paper
Stamp- PTI-mega mixed messages
Ink-StazOn-jet black
Accessories- Offray-Green polka dot satin ribbon, oval cut from Cricut, black marker, white gel pen, Fiskars scallop template

Have a Blessed day!
