Hey everybody! Well today I wanted to share a card I had published in the Paper Crafts Card Creations Favorite Occasions. I love this issue! And I really like how my card turned out, because I LOVE the Love Birds set from Wplus9 Design Studio! Those birds are SO sweet! :) I love the My Mind's Eye paper too!
And of course I love the BIG ribbon too! :)

Well that is it for today. I'm trying to get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday's. Cleaning, shopping, and getting ready for the kids to be out of school. It's going to be a busy week! :)

Paper Crafts Card Style Publications

Well Hello! I wanted to share some news with you today. I was very Blessed to be asked to be apart of an AMAZING magazine from Paper Crafts called "Card Style"! It is filled with 4 different card style types. I have always considered myself to have a Clean & Graphic card style, but I guess Paper Crafts seen Classy & Elegant. But then when I started creating the cards, I realized that maybe I do have a Classy & Elegant side too! :) It was alot of fun to create the cards. I had 2 cards in this issue, but I can only share one. So you will have to get a copy to see the other one and to see all the other Amazing cards in there too! Here is my card.

CARDS & Scrapbook Trends Publications

Hey everybody! Well I finally found the tag pic on my computer. So I thought I would post all the cards that I have had published in the last couple of month's with CARDS & Scrapbook Trends magazines.
I had 1 tag and 1 card in the May issue.
1 card in the June issue
And my first card in the Scrapbook Trends May issue. :)

It really has been a Blessing to have things published! I haven't had much picked up lately, but I have been really busy, so I haven't sent in as much. But since I have been busy it has been a little easier with the disappointment of none getting published! :)

Well it has been raining here for the past 3 days and is suppose to rain for at least 2 more. We are still getting the effects of Hurricane Alex. I will take the rain ANY day over the high winds! So I'm not complaining! I have gotten LOTS of paperwork done so I'm happy about that!

I don't know what we are going to do for the 4th of July, it depends on the rain. We are suppose to go to the lake and tube and jet ski and then watch the fireworks show, but we will have to wait and see! Chance has been getting a much needed break because of the rain. Not as many A/C's are breaking! :)

Card Publications- Paper Crafts Card Creations 8

Hey! Well I am Extremely behind on posting my card publications, so I thought I would try and catch up. I had 3 cards in the Paper Crafts Card Creations 8 magazine. I am only allowed to post one so I choose the Girly, You Rock card! I love the fun colors! :)

I have some more to post, but I have lost a pic of one of my tags, so I have to search for that first and then I hope to post the other pubs tomorrow!

I spent the day with my family yesterday! It was suppose to just be me and the kids going to run some errands and a little shopping, but Chance surprised us and came home after a couple of calls that morning and took off work and came with us! We love when he goes with us, but he doesn't like to wait on us to shop and he is usually busy working. But we are getting alot of rain from the Hurricane Alex that hit South Texas and Mexico. So when it rains it's not as hot so A/C's don't seem to break as much. So Chance and I went to the Chiropractor for a much needed adjustment, ran some errands, ate some lunch, and did a little shopping! And Chance not once complained that he was ready, he said however long it takes I'm fine! WOW! I was shocked! :) We had a great time! And even got some school clothes shopping done!

I also picked up a new cord for my laptop! Chance took my laptop apart a few days ago and he decided that it was the cord not the post like we thought. So the new cord is working, but I think my battery is bad and I think I need to get another one and then it should be fine. I really didn't want a new laptop, I am a creature of habit and I don't like change! So keeping my old one is fine with me! :)

Well need to go to town before it starts raining again!

April CARDS Pubs

Hey everybody! Happy Memorial Day! I am so very grateful for all of the soldiers, past and present, who fight to keep us free and safe! Thank you! :)

Well today I wanted to post a card that was in the April CARDS issue. Yes, I am behind on posting these, but I am going to try and get it up to date! I love this card so much because I LOVE the Heather Bailey fabric. I think I need to order some more! :)
I am trying out a new photo editing system and I am LOVING it so far! I just used the collage option on this one, the pics were already edited. I will be posting some more on that soon!

Well I am off to help my sweet husband clean our pool out! He already drained it and now we need to scrub it clean. Yes we are a little late doing this too, but not much weekend time at home lately! :)

February CARDS Pubs

Hey everybody! Well today I wanted to share my first published card in the CARDS magazine. It has some of my favorite things on it, pink, black, & white color combo and Houndstooth! :) I was very excited to be in the magazine with so many talented card makers.

Today has been a very lazy day for me! It has been raining since last night, so lets just say, I think I'm about caught up on my sleep! And I took a 2 hour nap yesterday afternoon! :) So that means no crafting at all today, just taxes. I will finish those sometime. :)

Paper Crafts Publications

Hey everybody! Well today I wanted to share a couple of my cards from the Paper Crafts March/ April issue! I had three cards accepted in this issue and they were my first cards EVER to be accepted! So the first card is one of them. I really love this card, is that Ok to say that? :) And I was very honored when Susan Opel found my blog when my cards were accepted and left a comment for me that said, "This card seriously made my heart skip a beat!" How neat is that?! :)
I also found out a couple of months ago, that I was one of the World Card Making Day Winners! I was so excited and it was so hard to keep it quiet! :) And the PC Girls were so sweet to mention it on their blog here!
You will have to get a copy of PC to see my other two cards and to see all the other Amazing cards!

My first published card!

Hey everybody! Well, I went back to Hobby Lobby today, and what do I see.... CARDS February issue sat there looking at me! (Sounds like a song!) :) I waited until I got in the truck, so me and Chance could see it together. And what do you know, it was the last card in the book! :) I was so excited to see it and to see my name! Too COOL! It was really neat to see all for my "blog friend's" cards too! I told Kelly Marie, that I would take a picture holding the book and have all smiles.... so here it is! I am trying to get all the stuff together, so I can draw the winners from the card drive, so please hang in there with me!

More Christmas Cards

Hey everybody! How was your weekend? Mine has been pretty busy. We had a Christmas get together with family on Saturday and I have been working on last minute Christmas gifts. I will show those later. I have a few more Christmas cards to share. I made these for the recent PC Card Creation calls, these weren't chosen, so I ended up giving them away as Christmas cards. I did have 3 cards excepted for PC's Card Creations and 2 for CARDS! :) Thank you for all the encouragement and compliments, each and everyone of you gives me! It means alot to me! I also wanted to remind everyone of the Sketch Challenge going on over at Everything But The Kitchen Sink Blog. I know everyone is really busy with Christmas preparations, but this would be a great sketch for a last minute Christmas card, Thank You card, or For A Gracious Hostess card! :) I hope you all can play along!

Oh, and my card for the 10 min. card challenge, had a shout out from Jessica Witty today on her blog! Thanks Jessica! :)

I wanted to leave you with a picture today, that my sister sent me her Christmas card! I'm starting to wonder if my family is 'Twisted'! Staging these scenes of our kids! :) But I really LOVE the picture, I can't help but laugh everytime I see it! :) If you only knew how those two twins were, I would have thought they would have their older sister wrapped up in lights! :)

Card- baby boy

Hey everybody! Well it's been a long day for us! I got to sleep in this morning, Yeah! Autumn had to cheer at the last game of the season, they won, so we got 3rd place for the season! :) She only cheered the first half of the game, because we had to leave for Chance to do a wedding, (he had to change on the way), I guess that's our busy life! :) And then after the wedding, we went to a town about 45 mins. away to eat and go to Lowes, to buy paint and a new holder for my ribbon, thanks to Maureen for the idea! I'll have to show you when it's finished! So now I'm home and waiting for the new PTI stamps to go on sale! :) I wanted to give everyone a reminder, that tomorrow the EBTKS girls have some big news!
