Baby Update & Gifts

Hey everyone! Well I had an update on the baby. He went to his pediatrician yesterday and they suggested that they bring him to the Children's Hospital to see a Neurologist for his seizures.

They got to the hospital, and they decided to put him in the NICU for tests. They are wondering if the seizures are from detoxing or something else. Please keep them in your prayers!

Well here are the gifts I made for him. I made some burp rags and some onesies. I love the fabric! For the onesies, I ironed on some letters and cut a star out of some plaid corduroy and sewed it on. I found the iron-on at WalMart, and I have been waiting on someone to have a baby, so I could make it! When I read that one, I suddenly have a Chinese accent! :) He really looks cute in it too! :) Ya'll have seen the card before, I made it for the Embellish Challenge awhile back! Supplies:

Moxie Fab- Tuesday Trigger

Hey everybody! I can't tell you how tired I am of cleaning! :) I have been de-cluttering my kids' bedrooms! They have WAY to many toys! I took out about 6 large leaf trash bags full of toys and 1 bag of trash out of their rooms! :) My kids take very good care of their toys, and always have, so we usually take them to a local foster center for kids that are waiting for adoption. They have so many kids there and they really could use something to get their minds off of waiting on a home! We had Christmas Party there about two years ago. The kids made 'Wish Lists', and everyone from church took a couple of names and bought them gifts, and we gave them all Bibles! It was an AMAZING day and it was very heavy on my heart, to see those kids there, like no one wanted them! :( So if anyone has a local foster center, and want to donate, please call them! They usually need alot of stuff and they would really appreciate it! :)

Also, please continue to pray for my friends and the baby! She called me today and said the birth Mom has to go to court tomorrow over the baby testing positive for drugs at birth. And they wanted her to bring the baby to see the Mom after court! As you can imagine, this is very hard on the foster parents! We do want the birth Mom to get better, and yes, it would be very hard for the baby to go back, but please just pray for God's will!

Now, on to crafty stuff! I made this card for the Moxie Fab- Tuesday Trigger! I really loved the inspiration pic, it just screams Thanksgiving to me! I don't know who carved these, but they have A LOT of patience! :) I used the template from a pumpkin card that Kristina Werner made! So here's my card! :)

Baby Update & a Card- Live Your Bliss

Hey everybody! Well I would like to first say, Thank You all so much for the prayers for my friends and their foster baby (hopefully adopted baby soon)! They took him to the ER and had blood work and CAT scan done! The Dr. said he looked good, and that the drugs that he had in the womb, would take awhile to get out of his system! So Praise God he is doing good! They go to church with us too, so today they wanted to bring him for prayer! We all prayed for him and I believe in the Name of JESUS, that he is going to be fine! I also had mentioned in another post, that the foster Dad, had fasted for 30 days last year for guidance and conformation about the adoption! He gave a testimony today and said that the Lord had revealed to him today that, the day his fast ended last year, is the exact date they got the baby, one year later! Isn't that AMAZING?! God is so good! :)

Prayer Request & Card- Just Because

Hey everybody! Well first of all, I would like to see if ya'll could pray for my friend's foster baby. I have mentioned before that he had medical problems, he actually tested positive for drugs the day he was born. He has been on some medication because he has been shaking, but he is now having seizures. She called me tonight, to let me know they were bringing him in to the ER, because they were getting worse! So please pray for him!

Today I wanted to share a card I made using my new Sizzix flower die and some pretty Heather Bailey fabric! I have been wanting this die for awhile and finally got it this week at Michael's using my 40% off coupon! :) I bought this Heather Bailey fabric a couple of weeks ago, and it is hard for me to use it because it is so pretty, and I don't want to cut it! :) I LOVE the colors! Reminder: One more day to play in the Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge!

M's Sketch #3 & Embellish Magazine's Color Challenge With Owls

Happy Friday everybody! Well today I was able to do a little crafting! Yeah!! :) I made a card for M's Sketch & Embellish Magazine's Color Challenge with Owls! I really liked the colors and look at this cute sketch! M's mom, Savitri also made this cute little owl too, and when I saw it in pink, I knew I had to use it! And look at the shirt Autumn had on the other day, when I saw it, I thought, hey that matches the challenge! :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I have not posted in a couple of days! I have been busy since my friend got the baby on Tuesday afternoon! I went shopping for clothes and I have made a couple of cute things for him! I will take pics of them tomorrow! I had to take Chace to the dentist today for his first filling ever! He was not liking the numb filling, he kept asking how long will this take to go away! But he was feeling better after it wore off!

Since I don't have anything new to post, here is a couple of cards I made for the Paper Crafts Clean & Graphic Challenge last month, these didn't win, but I was very grateful that another one of mine did! :) These are some very simple Christmas Cards! But I enjoy making them simple! :) Well it's getting late, I better get to bed! Night! :)
