Card- Dude You Rock

Hey everybody! Today has been a lazy day! We went to bed late, because me and Chance started a FaceBook account. It is really weird to see all those old faces from school, but exciting to hear from them again! I've missed alot of those people! Since I still live in the town, that they wanted to get away from, I don't see them much! I think the only time I see some of them, is unfortunately at funerals! :( So we have been trying to figure out Facebook, it is alot different than Blogger!
I did get to craft a little bit, I made a card for Chace's friend. He is going to his birthday party tonight, so I whipped him up a card real quick. I like how it turned out. Sometimes it's hard to make boy cards to fit their age. I am really lovin' Dawn's Signature greetings stamps, I wish I had good handwriting, but I don't, so no one would want to buy my stamps! :) I think I need to do a handwriting class, do they even have those?! :)Supplies:
Cardstock- (PTI) true black, (Georgia Pacific) white, (Recollections) gray & blue
Stamp- (Making Memories) Just Chillin', (PTI) Signature greetings
Ink- (VersaMark) watermark, (PTI) smokey shadow, (ColorBox) charcoal
Other- (Filigree) white embossing powder, (American Crafts) Zing clear embossing powder
Have a Blessed day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everybody's day was filled with love and thanksgiving! We had a great day, we cooked at home (well Chance did alot of cooking) I did some, but mostly I cleaned up after him! :) We have eaten all day, I think I need to get some more turkey though!
Well, the Dr.'s office called on Tuesday with Chance's blood work, they said that everything looked great but his Triglycerides were too high and they wanted to put him on medicine. Of course he said no, he wanted to try dieting, so I guess we all have to change our eaten habits! Then the Dr.'s office called on Wednesday and said the MRI looked Ok, but he had a pretty big polyp or cyst in his sinus cavity, I mentioned to ya'll, that we saw that during testing. So he is being referred to a ENT (ear, nose, & throat) Dr. I hope we will hear from the Dr.'s office on Monday with the appointment date! But, PRAISE GOD, so far the news is pretty good! So thank you for all the prayers, please continue to pray for the ENT appointment!
I think going to the Dr. offices and hospital's with Chance, has made me catch a cold bug or something! We saw a friend and her daughter at the Dr.'s office the day Chance went in, and the little girl had the Swine Flu! Well, they left and then we got called back, seriously, I think we got their room! I carry a small can of Lysol and Germ-X in my purse, I was spraying Lysol in the room and telling Chance, don't touch the table, here's some germ-X! My whole family has been sneezing and sinus congestion, I guess it's just that time of year!
Some of you may know Kelley, she is going through some trials in her life right now, and she would really appreciate your prayers! She is such a sweet blog friend and has been praying for my family, so please let's lift her up in prayer!
Well I wanted to give you all a update and tell you all that I am Thankful that you stop by and visit me on my lil' blog! Ya'll really encourage me to keep crafting, Thank You! I hope you all had a Blessed day!

Embellish Magazine Brads Color Challenge

Hey everybody! Well Chance had his MRI done today, in a mobile MRI truck?! How weird is that?! We just started laughing when we got in there! The hospital is small, so they bring the MRI truck there once a week! As long as it works, I don't care! They sure charge you alot though! :) We won't know anything till maybe next week, but then we have Thanksgiving holiday's, so maybe the next week! We did notice something in his sinus cavity, maybe a polyp or something, I don't know? Just, still praying everything is fine!
I bought a little onesie for the baby's first Thanksgiving yesterday. Look how sweet, it's made using a babies hand! :)
Then I saw Kristina Werner had a cute Thanksgiving Turkey card today. My wheels started turning and I thought about the Embellish Challenge using the colors red, yellow, blue, and green and brads! So I came up with this. The pictures aren't the greatest, it's been really dark outside today! I think I will give it to our friends for Thanksgiving, along with the onesie for the baby! :)

CARDS blog challenge & Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - Thanksgiving place cards

ETA: I noticed my Thanksgiving place cards fit the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab Blog too! :)
Hey everybody! Well, first of all, I just can't say how much it means to me that ya'll pray for needs in my life! Thank ya'll so much! I know it seems like I have been asking for prayer alot here lately, but prayer is SO important to me! So with that being said, the baby is doing pretty good, he is still in NICU, and I don't know how long he will be there. They are still running tests.

I did want to ask if you could please pray for my husband. He noticed a couple of days ago his vision seemed weird and then a little bit later he had a bad headache. Then the next day, it happened again, weird vision, then a headache. So I made him a eye appointment, because he was hit in the eye with a rock from the lawn mower when he was 10 and busted his retna, so we wanted to make sure, that wasn't it! He went today and everything was fine with his eyes. So the eye dr. suggested that he go to his regular dr., to get a MRI, because he thinks it is migraines. My husband was in a car wreck about 9 years ago and got whip-lash, and his back and neck have hurt ever since. He just told me about a month ago, that he wanted to go get a MRI, to see why his back hurt! So I guess he will find out both problems, and it could be possible that he is having migraines because of his back! So he goes to his regular dr. next week, so I will keep ya'll updated! I know that's alot of info, but I feel like I know ya'll and I wanted to give you the info to pray about, if you will! :) Thanks so much!

I also forgot about the PTI blog hop last month. I made some place cards for it, but the day passed by before I knew it, and it was to late to join! So when I saw the CARDS blog had a challenge to make Thanksgiving place cards, I had to use these. Ya'll know I love the PTI- Try Before You Buy Papers, so I printed off some First Fruits paper. I did a little stitching and added some PTI holiday mix- vintage buttons and stamped our names. I set the table up in a Thanksgiving decor and I was getting all excited about the Holiday's! :) We don't know our exact plans for Thanksgiving yet, so I guess I need to figure that out! :)

Supplies:

Cardstock- (Paper reflections) cream

Patterned paper- (PTI) Try before you buy papers

Stamp- (K&Company) Amy Butler alpha stamps, (PTI) polka dot basics II

Ink- (SU!) close to cocoa, (Martha Stewart) green

Buttons- (PTI) Holiday mix- vintage buttons

Other- twine-(WalMart), cream stitching from machine

Have a Blessed day!
