Card Set

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long! I have still been working on other projects, and haven't made anything to share yet! I did make a card set for a lady at our church about a month ago for her birthday, and I never posted them. So I will share them now. I needed these really quick, so I made them all pretty similar. This is one of my favorite color combos! They all have the PTI- Try before you buy papers. (Have ya'll noticed how much I love these?!) I made a set of 10, but I'll just share a few of them with you. So here they are.

Here they are all tied up with a bow!

Supplies:

Paper- white & black cardstock, PTI- Raspberry Fizz- Try before you buy papers

Stamps- PTI- mega mixed messages, Inkadinkado, Studio G

Ink- StazOn- jet black

Accessories- Martha Stewart- butterfly punch, black marker, black satin ribbon

2 Sketches 4 You #33

Hello again! I wanted to share this card I made for the 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge! It was such an honor to be one of the Fab 5 last week! Thank You Laura & Kazan! And Happy Birthday Laura! :) Well, today I bought some new stamps, and I thought I would use one for the card! It is this cute little tree! I wanted it to be a Fall card, so I made the leaves on the tree orange. I guess they just haven't feel out yet! :) It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but if you look real close, you can see the leaves and acorns I stamped on the back ground paper in Versamark. I am really loving burlap right now too, I think it might be the texture it gives the card! It reminds me of sack races at Fall festivals! :) OK, so here it is! Supplies:
Paper- cream, orange. red, brown, & green cardstock
Stamps- Hampton Art- tree, Recollections, leaves and acorns, PTI- mega mixed messages- Happy, Target $ spot- Fall
Ink- ColorBox Chalk- chestnut roan, Versamark- watermark
Accessories- burlap

Inspiration Challenge

Hello everyone! Well I got to play in some challenges today! Yeah! With football and cheerleading started, we have games every Saturday, so I knew if I wanted to play, I better do it today! The Talented Tina at TravelingMama started a new Inspiration Challenge. She posted some pictures from the Medina in Morocco. The pictures are really amazing! There are so many pretty things in there! :) The picture I choose for my inspiration, was the one that her 4 year old took! :) You can actually see them stretching the string in the picture, so cool, but something else that caught my eye, was the mannequins in the back ground! I have never been to the Medina in Morocco, but I would love to one day! So for my card I thought about, what you might see in a little boutique here in Texas! I stamped some houndstooth on white cardstock, to make it look like fabric, added some ribbon at the top and some tulle at the bottom ( I have been seeing the tulle at the bottom of skirts lately) ! Then I pleated it, to look like a skirt and made a little top to match and hung it on a mannequin and added some pearls! And of course a little price tag! :) I really like how it turned out! Ok, so here it is!
Supplies:

Paper- white, black, turquoise, & cream cardstock

Stamp- Hero Arts- houndstooth, PTI- mega mixed messages, Studio G- Style stamp

Ink- StazOn- jet black

Accessories- tulle, white stitching- sewing machine, black grosgrain ribbon, hand cut mannequin & top, crocheting thread, pearls

Card- Spiderman

Hello everyone! Sorry for the late post! I have been so busy, with the kids back in school and sports and everything else! I wanted to share some exciting news about Autumn! Her cheer coaches asked her to be the Head Cheerleader for the squad today! She has been around cheerleading her whole life! I was a cheerleader in Jr High and High School, and I had her right after High School, so I was always teaching her cheers and bringing her to football games and pep rallies! :) So I really think she will be a great leader in her squad!

Well, I wanted to share a card I made a couple of weeks ago. A friend of ours had a birthday and he said he was going to be 27 again for the 15th time! So when I saw Kelley post this card, I knew I had to make something similar! He really LOVES comic books and Spiderman, so we bought him a Spiderman T-shirt and I made a card to match! I copied some pictures out of Chace's Spiderman book and I tried to draw webs on 27, I don't really know if I succeeded! :) Sorry for the junky pictures, they were taken late at night on top of the stove again! :) It's pretty simple, but I guess that works good for a guy card! Well I'm off to bed, I have to go to the eye dr. for a yearly eye exam after I drop the kids off to school in the morning. I am totally out of contacts, these I have on, are only lasting on prayers! :) Then I'm off to do a little craft shopping! I hope to do some challenges tomorrow, maybe with some of the stuff I will get tomorrow! :)

Supplies:

Paper: white, red and blue cardstock

Accessories: Letter's cut from Cricut, pictures copied from Spiderman book, white gel pen

Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14

Hey everybody! I wanted to share my card for Dawn's Color Challenge. I can't believe it's already #15! WOW, time flies fast! I really liked the colors! I wanted to use the new stamp sets that I got last week from Two Peas. It is the Making Memories Just Chillin' Boy Line, but with these colors I wanted them to work for a girl too! I also got the Houndstooth from Hero Arts, that I have been drooling over! :) And the Heidi Swapp wings stamp. The Just Chillin' line, has wings stamps too, but I wanted them a little smaller, so I used the small ones from Heidi Swapp. I wanted it to be a little 'Rocker', so I used the houndstooth and the guitar with wings and a little bling! I really like how it turned out, and so did my daughter. I was thinking of her when I made it, she LOVES houndstooth just like her Momma! :)

I also wanted to give a little shout out for Tina at Travelingmama. She is doing an amazing thing over in Morocco! She is raising money to help schools there! Go by her blog for all the details! Her and her family are going to help change some many lives! Your doing a Great thing Tina and the Traveling Tribe! Keep it up and God Bless! :)

Truly Blessed

Hello! How has your Sunday been? Mine has been pretty good! We went to Church this morning and after Church my husband cooked us some amazing meatball subs at home! We are all laying around, trying to rest up for school starting tomorrow! I'm not a morning person, because I stay up to late, so I will have to get used to going to bed early and getting up early again just like the kids!
Well I wanted to share some more exciting news with ya'll today! The very sweet and talented Chelsea, has started an amazing ministry at her blog called "Wait For The Lord Wednesday". She makes a card and you leave a comment to try and win it. The ministry part is, if you win, she will send it to whoever you want it sent to, writes your message inside, and she prays for that person too! How amazing is that?! It might be someone who really just needs to hear some encouraging words or I love you! Well I won last week!! :) I got Chelsea to send it to my Mom, she really needs encouragement and prayer! Please be praying for this ministry and go by and check it out! Here is the card I won!

Some more exciting news is, I was picked as one of the Fab 5 over at 2S4U, with this card!!! :) How exciting is that?! I really like the sketches and they post them every Monday! There were alot of amazing cards picked and Sarah had an amazing card picked and she will be their Guest Designer this week! How Cool! Go by and check all of them out!
I am Truly Blessed! To have an amazing family who supports me and amazing blogger friends who support me too! Thank Ya'll so much! It means so much to me! Well I'm going to hang out with the kids! :)

Card- You're too kind (again)

Well hello! I am typing this while we are enjoying a relaxing night after a LOOONG & HOT day! Chace had a football game at 11:00 am so we had to be there at 10:30 am. It's about 40 min. away from our house, so it is to far to drive back home in between games! Then he had a game at 1:00 pm. Then my daughter cheered at a game at 2:00 pm and at 5:00 pm! Chace's team didn't do very well! This is Chace's first year to play football, he is one of the littlest, but one of the fastest (Thank Goodness!) I don't want him hurt! :) Autumn has been cheering for many, many years! Next year she will be able to try out for cheerleader in school! (One of the only reasons, she doesn't want to be homeschooled!) Me and a couple of other ladies were asked to take pictures of the games this year for the end of the year video they put together. My kids get tired of me taking pictures of them, so I guess I will just take pictures of other kids too! And I guess I will have to figure this camera out now! :) There was alot of walking and waiting going on today! I got sooo sunburn, I look like a lobster! Autumn got to hot during the her first game, so she got cooled off afterward, then she got hot again during the second game, so the cheer coach let them leave a little early. Thank goodness they did because Autumn got sick in the car and threw up (in a bag)! She did start feeling better after coming home and laying under the ceiling fan for awhile, then taking a cool bath! I'm glad they won't have games like that again! This was like their "Play Day", so it's lots of games! Anyway, school starts on Monday, so I hope to get some crafting done and not feel guilt about doing it when the kids are here! I hope to try and start posting everyday, even if I have to start scheduling them. It's just hard sometimes with the kids at home and you feel like your taking time away from being with them!
So here is a card I made out of some scraps on my craft table. It is very simple, but I like it! Here is the card and I wanted to share a pic. of Chace in his little uniform and Autumn in her outfit. They didn't wear their uniforms today, just their shirt and short outfit! (Sorry for the dark photo!)

Supplies:

Paper- gray, white, & blue cardstock- scraps from my stash

Stamp-PTI-mega mixed messages, Stampabilities (I think)-Polka Dot Background, Inkadinkado, Gem Stones Insects

Ink-Versamark-white, Martha Stewart- dusk blue

Accessories- Offray-white satin ribbon

Have a Blesed night!

All Glory To God

Hey everyone! Well, I am happy to say Autumn got home yesterday! She had a great time! Thank you all for the prayers for their safety! I am so excited to tell you the AMAZING news I heard yesterday! I got an email from Ms. Susan Opel from Paper Crafts yesterday with a Project Acceptance Notification! I submitted 18 cards and they choose 3! I submitted to CARDS magazine in June and never heard anything, so this time I submitted to Paper Crafts and submitted even more cards, determined to get at least one published! I was starting to feel discouraged, because today is the last day to hear something. So when I checked my email last night, I thought I was just seeing things and I almost started crying! :) They will be in the March/ April 2010 issue! I just want to say Thank You to all of those who have encouraged me and believed in me! And for all of those who want to submit, but are still unsure, just do it! You have to believe in yourself, before anyone else can believe in you! I am just starting to understand that concept for myself! I give ALL GLORY TO GOD!!! He is my Strength and my Salvation!! He gives me the vision to do this! When I started this blog, I prayed for God's light to shown through my life and work! I thank God for the opportunity to let more people see Him through me and the gift He has given me! I feel like this is an acceptance speech, but it is just me sharing my heart!
Thank You all and have a Blessed day!

Card- {heart} you

Hey everyone! Well I need to be cleaning house, but I thought I would post this card first! My daughter is leaving tomorrow morning to go to Alabama with a friend of hers for a 4 day vacation! She has never been away that long without family. I wouldn't even let her go if I we weren't good friends with her Mom, we all went to High School together. So I feel a little bit better about letting her go! I will probably be worried until she's back home, safe! I'm a lit bit of a worry wart! :) We have a rule with our kids, about no cell phones until your older! I think kids are growing up way to fast now days! But we broke down and bought a cheap TracPhone from WalMart with prepaid minutes, for her to bring, ONLY for this trip! She understands that when she gets home, the phone is taken back and put up!! :) Anyway, back to the card! So I wanted to put this little card in her bag to let her know that we love her! Please pray for a safe trip for them and pray that I try to relax! :) I made this card for the Studio G Challenge Sketch #14 over at Paper Craft Planet. I was to use Studio G stamps, and you all know I love Studio G stamps. I love this color combo, and I have used it before, so I knew that I would like it! Autumn loves blue and Zebra print, so I knew she would like it too! So here it is, I need to go clean now! :)

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #14, Traveler's Inspiration Challenge {six}, Inspiration Challenge #1

Hey everyone! I finally had time to make a card that I could share with you! I wanted to play in several challenges, but didn't have alot of time. So I made one card for 3 challenges! The colors are from Dawn's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge, I really liked these colors together, but that red was a little hard for me! Here's the colors.I also made this card for Tina's Travelers Inspiration Challenge at TravelingMama's. The bridge really reminded me of this new scallop punch I got last week. I have noticed that it only punches through one brand of paper, the paper gets stuck on all the other brands! Weird! :) Anyway, I also thought the raspberry pink matched the flowers in the picture too! I have been trying to make layouts for this challenge, but time just didn't allow. Here is the inspiration picture. Isn't that bridge pretty?!
I also found a new Inspiration Challenge from Dawn over at Stamp Away With Me, where we are to use chipboard. Well I hope ya'll like it and I hope you all go play in these challenges, they are so fun! :)
Supplies:
Paper- Cardstock- cream, pink, red
Stamp-Inkadinkado- Gem Stone Insects, Autumn Leaves- hand drawn alphabet
Ink- SU!- pink passion, Studio G- purple
Accessories- chipboard negative, EK Success- big scallop punch, cream- satin ribbon- Offray
ETA- Martha Stewart glue and glitter

All My Winnings

Hey everyone! I am retyping this post because the goofy Blogger has deleted it AGAIN! I can't stand that! I wanted to share all the stuff I won this past month! I won this card and 2 stamp sets from SmilynStef. I won this from Tina at TravelingMama's. I was one of the first five to play on her first Traveler's Inspiration Challenge. It is a card, postcard from Morocco, picture of the slippers, and this fabric camel to iron on a fabric project. They are so cute!
I won all of these at the Paper Craft Blog, when they had their big Blog Hop! I have waited for these for about a month and a half. I checked the mail everyday, waiting for it! It finally came yesterday! A magazine, Autumn Leaves Wellies & brella's collection items, Sassafras Lass papers, Anna Griffin Papers and stickers, Doodlebug design papers, SEI paper pack. I can't wait to make something! :)
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers about my headache! I woke up feeling alot better today! I am so Blessed to have blogging friends like Ya'll!

I'm still here :)

Hey everyone! I'm still here! :) I have been working on some card calls this week, so I haven't been able to make anything to post! It is really hard to think of so many different card designs, at one time, at least it is for me! So I am sitting here with a headache, I guess from to much thinking! :) I got some goodies in the mail today, I will try to post some details and pics of them tomorrow! My heads hurts to bad tonight! Sorry! :(
Have a Blessed night!
