Color Craze Challenge #1

Hey everyone! We are having a lazy Sunday evening, watching Titanic. I love that movie, I never noticed how much they cuss though! Not good when your a recovering cusser and the kids are trying to watch! :) Anyway I wanted to share some exciting news with ya'll, I submitted my first card to a magazine yesterday, I hope I sent it right and everything! :) I didn't have the courage before, but since starting this blog I have been so encouraged by ya'll, so THANK YOU!! I'll let you know if anything comes of it, and I plan on making more to submit too! I also wanted to share a Color Craze challenge that Kim from Jacksoki has just started. She says it is an informal challenge, but I think it will be fun, so Thanks Kim!! :) If you would like to join, go over and check it out and see her amazing work too! For me the colors just screamed baby, so I made two cards for the Pregnancy Center again! I water colored one and I used colored pencils for the other, I really need to get Copics or something, but boy are they expensive!! So until then, these tools will have to do! :) Here they are, I hope ya'll like them!

Supplies:
Paper- My Mind's Eye, SU!
Stamps- PaperTrey Ink- Mega mixed messages, Autumn Leaves- Mindy's Zoo stamps, Stampabilites- Polka dot background
Ink- StazOn- jet black, Versamark- watermark, ColorBox Chalk- charcoal, SU!- pixie pink
Accessories- Paper Studio- Bag-O-Buttons, black marker for stitching, clear embossing powder, Crayola-colored pencils
Have a Blessed Night!

Cute cards. Love your clean and simple style. I know what you mean about movies and cussing, or even bad messages. It's hard to find entertainment choices that meet holiness standards, isn't it? (Hope the magazine you submitted to accepts your card!)

Congrats on submitting your card, Winter! {hugs}

And the cards here are adorable. :) I didn't even think of these colors for babies when I picked them, but they make such joyful baby cards! Fabulous.

That is so exciting you submitted. I am pulling for you. I understand about the movies too. Carlin and I try to be careful about the movies we watch, but it is TOUGH.

I love these cards and your take on the color challenge. I know what you mean about the copics. I've not taken the plunge either. They're so pricey. eeeks. Plus, I have a lot of Stampin Up markers, so it's hard for me to toss those.

Wow, this is a long rambling post! Take care, and have a blessed week :)
