Also, please continue to pray for my friends and the baby! She called me today and said the birth Mom has to go to court tomorrow over the baby testing positive for drugs at birth. And they wanted her to bring the baby to see the Mom after court! As you can imagine, this is very hard on the foster parents! We do want the birth Mom to get better, and yes, it would be very hard for the baby to go back, but please just pray for God's will!
Now, on to crafty stuff! I made this card for the Moxie Fab- Tuesday Trigger! I really loved the inspiration pic, it just screams Thanksgiving to me! I don't know who carved these, but they have A LOT of patience! :) I used the template from a pumpkin card that Kristina Werner made! So here's my card! :)
Supplies:
Cardstock- (Recollections) cream, (Paper reflections) brown
Stamps- (PTI) mega mixed messages, (EK Success) Inspirables, (Studio G) monograms
Ink- (ColorBox) chalk chestnut roan, (VersaMagic) wheat
Pumpkin template from Kristina Werner

ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea, Winter. I totally forgot about the pumpkin template on Kristina Werner's blog, but you did an awesome job with it. Fits the challenge perfectly!
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the trigger Winter!!! I didn't even know Kristina provided a template. I'll have to get that. Thanks for the heads up on Foster care. Since I just moved I've also de cluttered rooms. My little also has nearly new toys that I've been wanting to donate to a good cause. I'm really looking into that. I'll continue praying for your friend. What a hard situation. But like you said we pray for God's will :)
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I want to make that card! Ha!
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are gorgeous pumpkins in the picture...something Martha Stewart would do, do you think? Love your little pumpkin card...you pioked up on the inspiration perfectly :) Prayers still going out to your friends...what a long, sad process...but I'm sure it will be worth it :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice Winter, that Pumpkin card is gorgeous! You just reminded me that I have to de-clutter my closet!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Love your white pumpkin! Great job with the trigger challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Winter!! Perfect take on the challenge!! When I was a child, our church would go at Christmas time to the Baptist Children's Home and we would do the same thing. We would all get names of the kids living there and take them Christmas presents, eat dinner, and just hang out and play with them. So sad... I will never forget how it felt being there and how, at such a young age, I was thankful for my family!
ReplyDeleteThis is way cute Winter! I love how you used the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for your friend.
Great card! Love the pumpkin shape and colors. Best of wishes to your friends.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this pumpkin!!!!
