Happy July 4th! We don't have alot of plans today, we went to a birthday party this morning where the kids rode jet ski's and went tubing. Now were home and my husband had to go to work for a while, and I think we might go out to eat this evening at an AMAZING restaurant. I know usually everyone eats Bar-B-Que, but we ate that last weekend, and I don't feel like cooking today! :) Then tonight we will go watch fireworks, we have not had rain in over a month, so we are under a burn ban, so we won't be popping fireworks ourselves! Anyway I needed to make a card for the birthday party this morning, and since the party was on July 4th, I had to use red, white , & blue! I also wanted to make a card for a lady from our church, her late husband was in the military and received a Purple Heart, so she is the most patriotic person I know! I also found these cute little candy firecrackers from
this blog. The small one is mints and the big one is sweet tarts. So I decided to make one for each of the cards I made! I made these cards using the
Color Chef Challenge, it was to use the red, white, and blue for the 4th of July! I know on one of the cards I used kraft, (sorry about that)! I also got to use my digistamps from
Digiments, that I won, Yeah! And I used the Sporty Billy stamp again from
Pink Cat Studio. Ok so here are the are.
Supplies:
Paper- white, red, blue, white, kraft cs, graph paper from WalMart
Stamp- Pink Cat Studio- Sporty Billy
Ink- StazOn- jet black
Accessories: Sentiments from Digistamps, ribbon from stash, star punch, hemp twine, candy, color pencils, circle punch
Have a safe & Blessed weekend!
