ETA: Well for some reason the last three weeks when I go to post my link to Dawn's Challenge, it links to my Blogger account! I don't know why it's doing it, it never has in the past, so anyway it was posted in time, but I don't know if that still counts. I did leave a comment for Dawn, so we'll see! I usually check to make sure it works, but I was trying to beat the deadline, and it did show my name, so I guess I just assumed it worked! I just wish everyone could see my sweet little girl in her dress that matches perfect for the challenge!! :) Oh well, it will be alright either way! :)
NEW ETA:Dawn saved the day, it works now! Thanks Dawn!! :)
Here's a quick post again! I decided to do a layout with these colors from Dawn's color challenge. I have been wanting to send a picture of this dress to Kristina, for her color challenge, it really has great colors, so now I don't need to send it, the colors Dawn picked are perfect! :) I made my daughter "Autumn" dress-up to take this picture! How cute is she, and those shoes?! I'm glad our feet are the same size! :) I don't know about ya'll, but it is really hard to take pictures of layouts! Does anyone have any secrets to make them better? If you do, please let me know! Thanks! :)
Supplies:
Paper- melon, cream, berry, dark brown cs
Ink-ColorBox Chalk Ink- dark brown
Accessories- handmade flowers, buttons- Paper Studio, dark brown marker, Thicker letters, Heidi Swapp- distressor
Have a Blessed night!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout! Beautiful daughter!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny that she has a dress in Dawn's colours this week!! Love the page and yes, it would be nice to know how to photograph a layout...12x12 is really hard!!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Winter!
ReplyDeleteHow perfect! I love Autumn's shoes... well, YOU and Autumn's shoes! lol! :-)
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... I think with layout photography, lighting is key. There are so many diff't elements in a LO (since it's bigger than a card, obviously), that you want everything to be very clear. And I guess just follow the tips that Lisa's been sharing and you'll get a great result. But I am NOT a professional... this is just a semi-educated guess... :-)
Look at your cute little girl! That dress and your layout: perfection!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!

ReplyDeleteHailey almost wears the same size as I do, which will be SO nice because everyone always buys HER cute clothes and shoes! I love your page! I've been taking a photo of my pages and then cropping it so that only the page shows. I've been wondering if there is a better way too. You'll have to let us know if you learn any tips, but your page really does look great!
