Hi again! I wanted to thank everyone SO much for all of the prayers and concern for my daughter! I took her back to her DR. yesterday, and they took out the packing and cleaned it out. She said that it looked really good and that she could get off of one of her medicines. So she is still taking one oral antibiotics and an antibiotic cream on the incision. She can get it wet again, which helps during bath time! We are still waiting on the results for the culture, I hope they will be in tomorrow. We just want to make sure the medicine she is one will continue to work. Her Dr. did say it was probably was MRSA, but we are still praying it wasn't!! I have been cleaning EVERYTHING in my house to try and keep it from spreading to all of us! I noticed last night that I had a bite or something on my upper thigh. We went fishing Sunday and baseball and softball games last night (it wasn't raining at the games at all), so it could have been a chigger or mosquito bite. I started putting antibiotic cream on it last night. Please pray it is just a bite with no infection going on! Well Thank You all again, it means so much to have prayer warriors praying for you!!
I also want to ask for prayer for a family, who I just found over the internet a couple of weeks ago. You might have seen them on T.V. The couple had a baby last June, and the little baby (Kayleigh) was 1 pound 1 ounce. We you see the picture on the blog title, you are going to fall in love! She has been through so much and so many surgery's. On her last surgery, (that was preparing for her to get to go home) she suffered a brain injury and became brain dead. Her family always kept the faith that it was in God's hands and not the Dr's, but after a couple of weeks of hanging on, she passed away yesterday. Please pray for their family, they have two other children also, that they are going to have to be strong for. Go by and see these precious baby girl and this sweet family! My kids and I have been checking in on her everyday, she has really touched our hearts with her fight for life!! It reminds me to cherish each day with your loved ones!! Hold your loved ones tight tonight and let them know you love them!! God Bless You All!
hi Winter I have not been by in a week or so, what a trying time you are having. I pray that your little one is better and stays better from here on in. MRSR is nat a great thing to have I know so, my prayers are with you. What a sad story about Kayleigh too. She fought for so long, it is always so difficult and I feel so sad for ehr family left here, while she has gone home to the Lord. God bless you Winter. Take care. Hugs ~Donna
ReplyDeleteI had no idea everything that your family has been going through because I haven't been keeping up on blogs recently. You left such sweet and encouraging comments on my blog with everything I've had, and they have meant so much. Autumn will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will think lots of good thoughts for her quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteHi Winter, I'm so glad that Autumn is healing. Your family will continue to be in my prayers for answers and resolution. I'm so glad you have Christ to lean on during this trying time.
ReplyDeleteThe story about Kayleigh was amazing. I feel for her family. They are a true testament of faith as they remained faithful throughout the entire situation. I am sure that their witness has influenced others.
I love your blog and am so grateful I found it:)
Oh My Gosh, your sweet daughter and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry you are dealing with this 'challenge' now, but know your faith will get you through it.
ReplyDeleteAlso in my prayers are the family of Kayleigh, the little Angel. What an incredibly sad story. {{{HUGS}}}
Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Winter! I'm so glad to hear your daughter is doing better...hope the rest of you are all okay too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comments on my blog! I couldn't see where to email you, but you also asked the other day if I had a light box, and no, I don't, but I would like to! I do adjust my camera's settings, edit the photos in Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, and sort of rig up my own light box when I can't photograph in daylight. I posted more info and a picture on this post from FEb. 12: http://schwooo.blogspot.com/2009/02/lauras-sketch-19-hello.html
Hope that helps! Thanks again!
Poor baby! I hope she is feeling much better!
