It is teacher's appreciation this week, so I wanted to make a card for my son's teacher, she is such a great teacher!! I decided to use the colors from Kristina's Color Challenge. I really LOVED these colors!! I finally found a wood grain stamp at Michael's, and I LOVE it!! I wanted to do something with apples, because it is a teacher's card, so I figured, apples come from trees, so the wood grain stamp would work well! I really like how it turned out! It was so hard to take pictures of this card! I think I took about a million pictures!! LOL! I first made the apples with clear embossing powder, but you couldn't see them on the paper in the picture. So I decide to use white embossing powder. That stuff is messy, there is powder where there wasn't suppose to be!! I'll have to get a embossing buddy (I think that's what it is called). So here's my card, I'll try to be back later with a post about the Teacher's Appreciation event we had at school this morning!
Supplies:
Paper- ColorBok- rose and mustard CS, chocolate and white CS
Stamps- PaperTrey Ink- mixed messages, All Night Media- wood grain
Ink- Versamark-watermark
Accessories- White & clear embossing powder, white satin ribbon, corner rounder
EDITED TO ADD: I forgot to mention the apple stamp is from a Fall stamp set I got from the Target $ spot last year.
Have a Blessed Day!
